I know one of the biggest complaints aobut our last Forum was the loading of or adding a picture. Some of you may not know this, but I am not a techy. So,the manipulating of web pages, forums and stuff especially when it comes to adding attachments does not come very easy for me. I never was able to add a picture to the old forum. I wanted to see if this forum was any better or differant, so I attempted to add a picture in the Eye Candy thread. I was able to add the picture with no problem. I used the add attachment icon (there is a 1meg limit) and it worked no problem. I will attempt to add another picture using the insert image icon and report back on how that worked. (I did just try to use spell check and nothing happened so I guess I have to figure that out next)

Okay I tried to add a picture via the insert image icon. I have no idea what has to happen there. It is asking for a URl. I Goggled it and found several sites that "do the URL thing" for you but I dont understand so I stopped, until I learn more. For now I will stick with the add attachment.

Gene, Do you have a Photobucket or Flicker account. Upload you large photos there. I use photobucket. Pick the image you want, You will see a larger image of it. Off to the right of the image you will see Email, Direct, HTML, IMG. Pick the http address you see next to Direct. As soon as you click on this you will see copied or it will turn blue. If it says copied no problem skip to the next step. If it just turns blue, Right click the mouse and copy the link. Once you have the link copied come back to the forum and click the image icon. When the pop up comes up, Click on the http://. You need to get rid of this since the link you copied already has it. Once you delete the http://, Right click the mouse again and hit paste. You are done it should be good to go.
Let me know if this works for you,
